MicroTraX BioLoc GPS battery tags at 10g and 26g and collars from 50g.

MicroTraX Solar BioLoc tags with additonal Argos link at 21g.

Tags include GPS, memory, programmable 3D accelerometers (on collars and Argos tag), temperature and UHF link. Solar tags with Argos link with a Geofencing option. GPS accuracy is also programmable and 2m is acheivable in open sky area. Transmitters operate from -20°C to +60°C.

Radio link has been field tested to remotely connect with transmitters from 1 km to 136 kms to program, to reprogram or to download data with the BioLoc base station.

Each tag/collar is fully programmable at production or by the scientist. Communication with the tags in the field is via our own anntena and receiver which plugs into the USB connetion on a laptop. All the software is included for the scientist to easily programme and download data.

Available as tags, back-pack, collar, ear-tag, tape or "glue-on's". Tags can be made into a collar as well.
